General Information

A nice 3 color RGB LED makes a nice status display. You can display so much information just via colors and blink intervals. Do whatever you want with this nifty status display. Alongside there'll be eight simple onboard leds to e.g. debug with numerical values etc. Those will be dual-used with the VGA connector, either this or that.

Pins 

RGBLED will probably use pins 1-3,  one pin for each color
8PATTN will probably use pins 9-16, one pin for each color, dualused with VGA
